In order for XFA Worker to work properly, you also need to have iText installed. Additionally, the XML Worker libraries are required. These can be downloaded separately for Java and .NET (additionally available on NuGet). An online demo (release version and latest development version) of filling and flattening functionality is also available. The XFA Worker download is an archive that contains:
An example XFA form and corresponding data
A simple example (in source code) that demonstrates how you can call a filling and flattening API
For the Java version: a .bat file to compile and run the example
For the C# version: a Visual Studio .NET project file for the example
